Our Annual trip to Gilbert's Tree Farm!!!

Well, on Sunday we all went to Gilbert's Tree Farm to get Christmas trees!!! I will admit that the years before were a lot more fun and "Family Oriented".... But I have no control over how things go or how people act... ANYWAY My little family had a good time (Me, Ant, Granny, Pawpaw and Jacob)...

Lance's little family got a Frasier Fur!!!! Those were VERY pretty, but too expensive 4 me!

Had a Great first day!!!

I was really nervous about my first day at BBW!!!

But I really got the hang of things pretty quick and the managment is so SWEET!!! I hope the rest of my employees are as nice as the management! Only thing is that I need to get the hang of where everything is at... I got to walk around and help customers and get the hang of things at the register!!! I go in on black Friday and Satuday, so I'm getting nice and broke in this weekend!!!

Back from My Interview...

SO! I am back from my interview...

Well, I wasn't expecting it to be a group interview but it was... Blah... So I had to answer all of the questions out loud in front of 4 other potential co-workers. It wasn't as bad as I was expecting. I had about 5 mins to cope with the fact that I had to talk in front of a group... All in all I think I did very well!!

But there is more...

After the 30-45min long interview, we went back into the store where the manager did a demo of a new Christmas lotion. Then she said,"Ok, I need to talk to each of you individually." So she calls ME first!!! I'm thinking, man there's something wrong with my application or something!!!

But!

When we got over to the side she said that after reviewing all of my references she wanted to give me the first offer for a job and quoted me my hourly wage!!! I said definitely! So I have orientation and a Meeting on Sunday with the rest of my co-workers to plan the Christmas party!!! I was in shock the whole way home!!! I have a good feeling about working a Bath and Body Works!!!

An Update...

Well, it's been busy for me lately...
I hate I havent been able to blog lately! Might I add that both Jacob and myself were sick ALL weekend with sinus infections! It was tough being sick and keeping up with a toddler who was sick. Plus, he has really gotten into throwing tantrums. But, I've been busy looking for a JOB. I get tired of everywhere I go, people are asking, "Have u found a job yet?". It's odd how everyone asks me, but since the cakes aren't selling like they were, I've got to do something to finish up Jacob's Christmas... I just want to be able to get Jacob's Christmas with mine and Anthony's own earned money. Speaking of Anthony, we found out yesterday that he will start working on, I think, this coming Monday the 16th. For those of you who dont know, he was laid off in May and hasn't been able to find a job since. He's had a lot of pressure on him, so hes had to take the first thing that has come his was... A job in Tuscaloosa doing construction on the Alabama Stadium (Jacob and I are going to have a long road trip in the near future)... I hate he has to go so far away to work but, anything will work right now just to get everyone off of his back about not being able to find a job...People act like it's just so easy to find a job that can actually pay most of the monthly bills... On a better note, I am going for an interview today at Bath and Body Works! I'm excited to see how it goes!! Wish me luck...
