My Little Evil Knievel... He's just had a BAD day!!!

So! My son decided that he was going to attempt to out-do Evil Knievel!!! But Like I said in the title, he has just had a bad day!! Ok so!!! I was sitting here this morning looking at Charity's 4th of July pictures and all of the sudden Jacob decides to DIVE from the recliner to the end table, then onto the floor... Yes it was more of a fall than anything, but I figured why not call him my little Evil Knievel today?!?! But here is the damage that was done:

But that's not all!! To keep my boys from dying of boredom I decided to let them go outside and play on the slip n slide... (When I say boys I mean Jacob and Matthew, Anthony's youngest boy)

Anyway!!!!

They were outside playing and having a good time; of course I was out there watching and supervising... But as SOON as Anthony drove up Jacob ran up to us stomping and fussing!!! Wondering what was wrong with him, I looked down and his little foot had ants on it!!!

Me being mommy I snatched him up and beat his feet for a min!!! When we finally got all of the ants off and inspected the rest of his body then put him in the tub!!

Poor thing has ant bites all over his little feet and a few up his legs!! The ants haven't been bad like that for a while... So I'm going to have to go and inspect the yard and put out ant poison before we go slippin and slidin again!!!

I don't have a picture because he will not let me touch his feet. Plus, he is napping now too!!

I will be posting pictures of Kerry and Laura's wedding when I get to Mom's tomorrow...

Baby Things I Adore and Despise!!

Well, after I had Jacob I had something new to talk about with people!!! My questions usually were, what kind of lotions do you use or what brands do you use. Now I have things that I use, don't use and will never use when it comes to my child! So I am going to let it all out and tell all of you guys my likes and dislikes on baby things!

1. Two Words BABY MAGIC... The only lotions I use is Baby magic because it was used on me when I was a baby and it smells SOOOO GOOD!!!

2. I have always said NO to Johnson's products until now!!! I have discovered that Johnson's Lavender baby powder is the best!! It smells WONDERFUL!!! Also, we picked up some of the Johnson's Bubble Bath (the new blue bottle)! Not only does Jacob LOVE the bubbles, it makes him smell SO VERY GOOD (which makes me happy!!)!!!

3. BUTT CREAMS!!! I have been recently having problems with diaper rash with Jacob!!! I know it's caused by the summer heat/sweat and wetness in the diaper and etc..... But I have come to believe that the only thing that has EVER worked for Jacob is A&D ointment!!! The problem is that I ran out of the stuff and it is outrageously expensive!! SO I used this 3 in 1 diaper rash cream and it seemed to make the rash worse!!! So I have now resorted to the plain ol' Vasaline and powder!!!

4. So I loved to use Pamper's Swaddlers when Jacob was first born! Now when I use Pamper's Diapers they leak like crazy!!! So Huggies works the best for Jacob at Night because he tee tee's a lot in his sleep!!! Plus they look cute on him when he runs around with just a diaper on!!!!

5. I used Dr. Brown's Bottles when Jacob was taking a bottle... I just think they were too much work; cleaning the tube and whatnot.... So I think when I have my next kid I want to use Avent!!! No tube, just easy going bottle and nipple!!! NOTE: I do not plan on getting pregnant ANY time soon so I didnt want to freak anyone out by saying "my next kid"!!!!!

6. SIPPY CUPS..... I only use Gerber and Playtex... PERIOD! These cups don't leak as much but anytime you put a "leak-proof" sippy cup in a toddlers hands.... THAT CHILD IS GOING TO FIND A WAY TO MAKE IT LEAK!!! Haha So yeah....

7. I'm not sure about girls but with little boys, if I ever have a boy again, we will buy one pair of shoes every 2 months or less!!! Jacob grew out of his shoes so fast until now!

Ok SO I am going to be a copy-cat!!! Thanks Charity for introducing me to the blogger!!! So, I am excited to do my first blog! As all of you know my life isn't perfect!!!! But I make the best of things!!! I plan on writing about things that I would say when I talk to someone in a conversation than really telling about my life in general, but I will also put occasional updates on Jacob=]... I hope you all enjoy and when I figure out how to put pics up I will do so!!!!
